The possible topics for the documents on the test:
1. Late Brezhnev era (1976-82): economic problems, political problems, the invasion of Afghanistan
2. Gorbachev era (1985-91): economic problems and policies, political problems & policies, Afghanistan, foreign policy (relations with the USA), reasons for the collapse of the nation
3. Eastern Europe (Poland, Czechoslovakia, East Germany) – reasons for the collapse of the Communist governments
